Project coordinator - Software services

You have an exciting opportunity for the position of PROJECT MANAGER - Software Services with our company. We are looking for a candidate who can join immediately. The work location is in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. This is a permanent position and the mode of interview will be virtual. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in a Software Company. As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include managing software projects which involve development, customization, implementation, and support projects. You will work closely with the development team, technical lead, and business analyst to determine the technical direction and approach to system design and implementation. This includes both core and supporting systems. You will be responsible for defining and tracking project milestones and deliverables, such as project schedules and detailed project plans. It is important to tailor project management, development, and support processes to meet the specific needs of each project. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff, ensuring that project deliverables are on schedule and within cost and quality parameters. Communication and collaboration are key aspects of this role. You will be required to communicate with project teams to ensure project deliverables are met. This includes managing expectations, presenting to stakeholders, and interfacing with sponsors. You will also need to identify and manage risks and issues, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and make decisions and communicate trade-offs and risks across projects. Furthermore, you will provide input into strategic planning and asset creation processes. Coaching and training project team members on software development processes and best practices will also be part of your responsibilities.
