Position: Production Shift In charge – Polymer Compounding

About the Role:

We are hiring a Production Shift In charge to supervise and manage day-to-day operations of our polymer compounding lines during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering background with experience in managing manufacturing processes in plastics or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production of Nylon 6, Nylon 66, and PBT compounds
• Ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety protocols
• Operate and monitor extrusion, blending, and pelletizing machinery
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth workflow
• Record shift-wise production data, downtime, and raw material consumption
• Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency
• Train and supervise shift operators and technicians

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
• 2–5 years experience in a plastic/polymer/chemical manufacturing setup
• Knowledge of compounding, extrusion lines, and production KPIs is a plus
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Willing to work in rotational shifts
