Product Development Executive

You will be joining Pilgrim, a rapidly growing Beauty & Personal Care brand founded in 2019 by IIT-B and IIM-A Alumni. Pilgrim offers a wide range of products across face care, haircare, skincare, makeup, and fragrances, available at over 25,000 pin codes and 1000+ offline stores. The brand is known for curating the best beauty secrets globally to create effective and exciting products. As a Senior Executive - NPD for the Skin Care, Hair Care & Body Care vertical, you will play a crucial role in developing a successful product portfolio to drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include identifying trending ingredients, conducting market research, managing new product development projects, collaborating with internal teams and manufacturers, and ensuring successful product commercialization. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a robust NPD pipeline by identifying trends, understanding customer needs, and testing new product concepts. - Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to create the right product mix. - Oversee the entire new product development process, manage costs and timelines, and ensure regulatory compliance. - Identify and collaborate with suitable partners and manufacturers for product development. - Drive successful commercialization of new products, monitor performance, and support marketing and sales teams in product launches. Qualifications: - B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetology or B. Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry - 1-4 years of experience in NPD in skin care, hair care, or treatment products - Prior experience in Skincare, Haircare, or salon professional domain is a plus - Proficiency in MS-Office, especially MS-Excel - Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and ability to stay updated on market trends - Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills Location: Andheri, Mumbai.
