Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Planner to join our

manufacturing team. This role is responsible for planning, sourcing, and procuring

raw materials, components, and indirect supplies necessary for manufacturing

operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely material availability, minimize

costs, and support continuous production flow while maintaining inventory efficiency

and supplier performance.

Experience: 2–5 years of procurement or materials planning experience in a

manufacturing environment

Desirable qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field or any engineering

streams.

Key Responsibilities:

 Plan and manage procurement schedules based on production forecasts and

MRP requirements

 Source and procure raw materials, components, and consumables in line with

production needs

 Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess, ensuring just-in-time

(JIT) delivery where applicable

 Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity,

and delivery timelines

 Collaborate with production, quality, warehouse, and engineering teams to

align material planning with manufacturing goals

 Track supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness) and

initiate corrective actions if needed

 Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with vendors to ensure cost-effective

procurement

 Support new product introductions by securing early material availability

 Analyze material usage trends and consumption patterns to optimize

inventory strategies

 Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procurement policies
