Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms. 5 years of experience in working with embedded operating systems. 5 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products. 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience in leading engineering teams in a changing environment with the knowledge of data management and processing technologies, including SQL, query engines, and infrastructure. Experience in developing and maintaining distributed systems with excellent communication and teamwork skills promoting collaboration. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company. Responsibilities Write and test product or system development code. Guide design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies. Implement data-motivate approaches to identify and define metrics that measure the developer experience, developer productivity and improve reliability of Core data products. Collaborate with Core data team to identify and prioritize developer experience and productivity tests and design and implement solutions such as tooling, frameworks, and best practices to address these tests. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. ,
