Overseeing and controlling quality parameters in the foundry process, including raw material inspection, in-process inspection, and final product inspection
Conducting process audits, establishing robust quality controls at all casting stages, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Analyzing casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, sand inclusion, and cracks, and implementing corrective actions.
May also involve working with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials
Strong understanding of foundry processes, materials, and casting defects.
Proficiency in documenting quality procedures, audits, and corrective actions.
