Principal Consultant

Job Title: Principal Consultant (Life & Annuity) Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site only, travel as needed) Experience:-10+Years Role Overview: As a Principal Consultant, youll lead projects and provide expert advice in the Life Insurance and Annuity domain. You'll work with clients, analysts, actuaries, and developers to design solutions, ensure compliance with US tax laws , and improve business processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead consulting projects in the Life & Annuity insurance space. Work on complex calculations related to US tax compliance (e.g., 7702, 7702A, 101(f)). Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design solutions. Analyze and resolve issues in policy values and compliance calculations. Create Excel-based tools for insurance calculations. Guide teams, manage deliverables, and support proposal development and training. Required Skills: Deep knowledge of life and annuity products (e.g., Term, Whole Life, Indexed). Strong understanding of actuarial modeling , valuation , and reporting . Familiarity with US insurance tax rules (7702, 7702A, 101(f)). Experience in requirement gathering , documentation, and client communication. Ability to lead meetings, prioritize tasks, and resolve production issues. Preferred Skills: Experience with new business and conversion projects in insurance. Knowledge of key insurance calculations (e.g., cash value, death benefits, TAMRA, FMV). Experience working with onshore/offshore teams .
