Role: Planning Analyst Department: Production Planning and Inventory Control Key Responsibilities 1. Develop effective forecast models based on Organizations trend and Demand 2. Risk assessment on failures and corrective action plan development and implementation 3. Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy and thereby annual budgeting 4. Preparation and fixing of Annual RM purchase plan based on forecast 5. Periodic forecast review 6. Stock flow analysis and Inventory optimization 7. Analyzing new business proposals for viability and profitability 8. Analyze & align demand Vs resource and Highlight the bottlenecks. 9. Analyze overall performance of the organization (Demand, Supply and business growth) 10. Coordination with internal customers (Sales, Procurement, Production, Costing and QC) Add on Responsibilities 1. Market research to identify business threats and opportunities 2. MIS reports to Management 3. Monitor and alert the respective functions on financial loss to organization (Aged inventory, yield loss, combined shipment, Freight cost by Synthite etc.) 4. Cost effective planning Skills 1. Good communication 2. Team work 3. Analytical skill 4. Multi tasking capability 5. Problem solving skill 6. Good presentation skill 7. Negotiation 8. Good trainer 9.
