About the Role To conduct PPAP of all existing model components at present suppliers In Parallel, need based, to conduct PPAP of new components/new supplier Educate suppliers for Quality core tools like, PPAP, FMEA,MSA,SPC & APQP Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Conduct PPAP for all existing components of all 4 Hyva plants Educate & train Supplier Management ( If needed ) for 5 core tools of IATF 16949 i.e. PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC & APQP Resolve dimensional /process/product issues surfaced out during PPAP supporting Supplier with knowledge source, whenever needed Support internal SQ&D Team for PPAP of new components whenever need is there. Certified VDA 6.3 auditor will be added adavantage About You To be successful in this role you will have: B.E ( Mechanical) with 3-4 years of experience or Diploma Engineer (Mechanical) with 4-5 years of experience in similar industries Hands on Experience in doing internal and supplier PPAP Exposure to IATF 16949, especially to 5 core tools i.e. PPAP, FMEA,SPC,MSA & SPC Thorough understanding on all topics of PPAP Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 system Hands on experience of doing inspection using different measuring instruments, gauges & inspection by first principle. Should be able to understand & do castings/Forging layouts Good in understanding & using GD&T principle Should have done PPAP of fabricated items & related assemblies Excellent academic credentials & from reputed Engineering college Exposure to inspection Casting /forgings, Plasticparts knowledge can be added advantage Should have handled similar portfolio in previous industry Proficient in QC tools Preferred Attributes: Result-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and ownership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills VDA 6.3 certification IATF auditor certificate

Role & responsibilities Study customer drawings/specifications and convert them into manufacturable components. Prepare and validate BOMs, process flows, and routing sheets for new products. Coordinate prototyping, sample development, and trials with production, QA, and suppliers. Work closely with customers and internal teams to gather feedback and implement improvements. Ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DQF (Design Quality Feedback) principles. Support tool design, jig/fixture development, and part validation activities. Document engineering changes and maintain design revision history. Lead cost estimation and feasibility analysis for RFQs and new parts. Drive continuous improvements in new product lead time and quality. Preferred candidate profile Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 310 years of experience in NPD or design & development within the sheet metal/fabrication industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar 2D/3D design software). Knowledge of sheet metal processes like shearing, punching, bending, welding, and powder coating. Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing standards. Hands-on approach, with strong coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Exposure to APQP, PPAP, and FMEA will be an added advantage.
