You are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SSAS and Azure Analyst with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience to design, develop, and maintain data models using Azure Analysis Services and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), both OLAP and Tabular. Collaborating closely with data teams and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering scalable, accurate, and insightful analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop Tabular models in Azure Analysis Services and/or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) based on business requirements. - Translate reporting needs into functional and scalable data models by collaborating with business analysts, data engineers, and reporting teams. - Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes feeding into SSAS/AAS models to ensure high availability and data freshness. - Refine model architecture, indexing, partitions, and DAX measures to optimize cube performance. - Conduct model validation, unit testing, and data integrity checks for accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs. - Enhance existing SSAS models to meet evolving business needs and provide support for Power BI, Excel, and other BI tools. - Document technical specifications, DAX measures, KPIs, metadata, and data flow processes, and monitor and troubleshoot data refresh failures and performance bottlenecks. Must-Have Skills: - Hands-on experience with SSAS Tabular and/or Multidimensional (OLAP) models. - Proficiency in DAX, MDX, data modeling principles, and BI best practices. - Experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and ETL workflows. - Strong SQL skills for query optimization and familiarity with Power BI and Excel.
