Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer Experience: 4 Years Location: [Insert Location can be Onsite/Remote/Hybrid as applicable] Job Type: Full-Time | Post-Sales Support & Implementation | [Insert Employment Type Permanent/Contract] Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Security Engineer with hands-on experience in post-sales implementation and technical support for a wide array of network and security technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in enterprise switching, wireless infrastructure, next-generation firewalls, and endpoint security platforms, combined with proven field experience in customer-facing roles. Key Responsibilities: Deliver post-sales deployment, configuration, and support for network and security solutions including switches, access points, and firewalls. Lead and assist in the implementation of enterprise-grade networking solutions across customer environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Layer 2/3 switching, wireless networks, firewall policies, and endpoint protection suites. Support the rollout and maintenance of security technologies such as EDR/XDR, IAM, and NAC. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer requirements. Create and maintain project documentation, including HLDs/LLDs, network diagrams, and configuration guides. Participate in technical escalations , root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Work closely with OEM vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, Aruba, etc.) for advanced troubleshooting and product support. Technical Expertise: Network & Wireless: Cisco Catalyst & Meraki Switches Aruba Instant Access Points Fortinet Switching Solutions Firewall Security: Fortinet FortiGate (Intermediate to Advanced) Palo Alto NGFW (PSE Strata Certified) Sophos XG/UTM Meraki MX Endpoint Security & Threat Management: Trend Micro Apex One (EDR/XDR) Cisco Secure Endpoint (AMP) Sophos Intercept X Identity & Access Control: Cisco ISE (Network Access Control) Cisco Duo (IAM/MFA) Transmission Media: Structured Cabling, Fiber, and Copper Media Standards Certifications: CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate PSE Strata – Palo Alto Multiple OEM Blackbelt Certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, etc.) Preferred Skills: Ability to handle customer environments independently. Excellent communication and presentation skills for handling post-sales interactions. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Exposure to ticketing tools, project tracking systems, and documentation platforms. Industry Domain: IT Services – System Integration, Managed Security Services, and Enterprise Network Support Nice to Have: Experience with SD-WAN or SASE deployments. Exposure to SIEM or SOAR platforms. Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture concepts.
