Should be able to read and draw Mechanical Assembly drawings, hydraulic and Pneumatic Circuits. Troubleshooting of machine breakdowns and rectifications. Maintenance knowledge on Hydraulic and Pneumatic Presses, Hydro-pneumatic cylinders, CNC machines spindle assembly, Index tables, Conveyors, Ovens, Ball screw assemblies, Torque gun, Pivot assemblies, CAM operation mechanisms, Greasing systems etc. Hands-on experience in angular contact bearing assemblies. Hands-on experience in AUTOCAD, MS office etc. Knowledge in Predictive maintenance, i.e. Vibration analysis. Exposer in why-Why analysis approach, kaizens etc. Basic knowledge in PLC. Interpersonal skills / Team player Exposure in 5S practices and Energy management systems. Awareness in industrial safety practices. EHS and system audit TS/IATF 16949 Should be able to work without any assistance and assistance. Typical Duties: Attend Breakdown maintenance, Analysis of Breakdown and identify the root cause, plan for kaizens. Completion of Preventive, Corrective & predictive maintenance activities on time. Restoration of machine original condition after completion of maintenance activities. Identifying Improvement points to improve MTBF & MTTR of machines Improving and retain the Machine Basic condition and 5S Implementation of improvements & poka-yokes Initiating spare cost saving and energy usage reduction activities. Updating daily activities in maintenance management system on time. Handling of internal customers like manufacturing, quality and safety departments for machine related issues Should be willing to work on weekends and holidays. Ensure validity and certification of relevant tools. Populate relevant failure data base (FRACAS, Railsys Light ,) Guarantee information flow within the troubleshooting team. Software uploading and downloading Data analyses EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET 3-4 years' experience as Trouble-shooter/Maintainer in Electric Loco Shed having base of more than 100 Locomotives Proven experience of troubleshooting various defects in WAG5; WAG7, WAG9 and WAP series of locomotives.
