Job Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer specializing in Injection Moulding to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of injection moulding machines and associated equipment. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of injection moulding machines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in injection moulding machines and associated equipment promptly to minimize downtime. Machine Setup & Calibration: Assist in setting up and calibrating machines for new production runs, ensuring they meet quality and efficiency standards. Spare Parts Management: Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs and maintenance activities. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and repair histories. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance machine performance and reduce downtime. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in maintenance engineering, with specific expertise in injection moulding processes. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery. Software Proficiency: Experience with maintenance management software is a plus. Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
