Role & responsibilities Skill set Interiors/Exterior Trim NPD_CAD/CATIA & Team Center Domain knowledge • Hands on experience in Catia V5 (Part/surface/drawing). • Sound knowledge in packaging study and master section creation. • Design and development of Interior/Exterior Trims from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline. • Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions. • Knowledge in benchmarking and cost reduction. • Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release. • Knowledge of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes of Interiors. • Design product to cost targets. • Knowledge in Team Center and Vis mockup. • Demonstrate good customer and cross functional relationships. • Problem solving skills (8D / 6-sigma) • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic. • Knowledge in MS office tools. Job Description • Extensive experience on commodities development (for e.g. Interior components like IP&CNSL, Air vents, Ducts, Pillar Trims, Door Trims) new part design, on-going product development changes; digital pre-assembly • Extensive experience in developing CAD designs in CATIA, based on Engineering direction for commodities in above mentioned PMTs • Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD using available collaborative tools such as Web-Ex, IM, emails etc. • Understanding the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements. • Applying GD&T for completed designs. • Ensuring the quality of CAD meets CAD Design standards. • Executing as well as checking the progress of the Designs, and suggest alternatives whenever required to make sure that the deliverables are met with the appropriate quality for each milestone of the Product Development process.

Design Engineer- Cabin Trims: Experience: 4-10 yrs Scope of Role: The CAD Engineer is responsible for generating CATIA V5/V6 Body Engineering CAD concepts/ solutions for ongoing and new projects for Trims and sheet metal parts Area of Responsibility: Body Cabin System: Soft & Hard trims: Pillar trims, Trunk trims, Headliners, Sun visors, Overhead console, Carpet, NVH, Ducts etc This position is responsible for creation of CAD geometry, 3D annotations and 2D Drawings in support of various projects. You will have responsibility for: Be responsible for the design and development of Plastic & Sheet metal Components by using Parametric modelling techniques like Point based or Core & Cavity or Rapid Geometry Creation, Associative Vehicle Architecture (AVA) Basic Knowledge of rules and reactions in Catia Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence Ability to check and manage clearance to interface parts.
