PHP WordPress Developer

You will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on requirements and design specifications. Additionally, customizing existing WordPress themes and plugins to add new features, improve performance, and enhance user experience will be a key part of your role. Collaborating with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing website designs that align with client branding and objectives is essential. Moreover, you will work on optimizing website performance, security, and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and other best practices. Troubleshooting and debugging issues with existing WordPress websites, plugins, and integrations as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and capabilities is expected. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive WordPress implementation experience, excellent programming skills, experience in theme customization, and experience with WooCommerce. Good debugging skills, experience in WordPress theme development, experience with multiple CMS platforms and/or MVC frameworks, and experience using MySQL database ACF, Elementor (optional), Gutenberg, Custom Posts Creation, Plugin Customization & Development are required. Knowledge of how to interact with Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) is a plus, along with object-oriented programming skills.
