Ph.D. Data Scientist

As a Ph.D. Data Scientist at PTS Consulting Services, you will be joining a dynamic team focused on advancing AI-driven solutions and conducting cutting-edge research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Natural Language Understanding (NLU), as well as Generative AI. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the development and implementation of advanced machine learning models and algorithms for various NLP and NLU tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing large and complex datasets to extract valuable insights, training and evaluating machine learning models, developing relevant features from textual data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Furthermore, you will play a key role in continuously optimizing algorithms and models for efficiency and accuracy, documenting research findings, and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and NLU through continuous learning and participation in conferences and workshops. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with proven expertise in AI, NLP, and NLU, demonstrated through a strong publication record in relevant conferences and journals. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and libraries like NLTK, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or spaCy, experience with deep learning techniques and frameworks, and strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining are essential requirements. Additionally, familiarity with data preprocessing techniques for unstructured text data, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on complex research problems are crucial. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also desired qualities. Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, would be considered a plus.
