Main Duties/Responsibilities: Leadership and Management Responsible for leading, developing and implementing an innovative departmental strategy that is consistent with University. Representing the department at University level. Ensure that the department implements an effective programme of academic business development. Effectively manage and acquire appropriate departmental resources including recruitment and ensuring that staff reach their potential. Ensure that all staff in the department operate to the expected level of performance. Address under performance with the support of HR where necessary. To publish the outcomes of research, with a record of securing publications in internationally rated journals of high standing. Where teaching and learning is the main focus, to publish research disseminated in pedagogic or professional practice publications. Qualifications and Skills: A M.Tech/Ph.D. in Computer Science.
