Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Validate and reconcile timesheets, attendance records, and leave balances.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain payroll records and reports; ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Calculate and process employee deductions (benefits, garnishments, taxes, etc.).
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of data (new hires, terminations, salary changes, etc.).
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing payroll-related reports for internal and external audits.
  • Stay current on payroll regulations and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Solid understanding of labor law, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
