Palantir Data Engineer

As a Palantir Data Engineer, you will be responsible for ingesting, cleaning, transforming, and enriching data to be used in Palantir Foundry. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, developing and maintaining data ontology, integrating diverse data sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver Foundry-based solutions. You will troubleshoot and resolve data quality, access, and performance issues, as well as contribute to application development and analytics solutions using Foundry tools. Additionally, you will apply data analytics and machine learning techniques for insight generation and promote best practices in big data technologies within the organization. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience and demonstrate proficiency in Python and PySpark. Strong experience with SQL, BI tools, and data analysis is essential. Hands-on experience with various Palantir tools such as Data Connection, Ontology, Code Workbook/Repository, Contour, Quiver, Workshop, and Slate is also required. Desirable qualities for this position include proficiency in English communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to produce clear documentation for technical and business teams. You should be adept at encouraging cross-team knowledge sharing and be a collaborative team player capable of addressing complex technical and business issues. The hiring process for the Palantir Data Engineer position includes screening rounds conducted by HR, followed by two technical rounds, and a final HR round.
