Position Overview: Outsystems Technical Architect

The Technical Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performing applications using the OutSystems platform. This role requires a deep understanding of OutSystems architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture Design:

Design and architect complex, enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform.

Define technical architecture and ensure the implementation of best practices and coding standards.

Create scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints.

1. Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Review and approve code, ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications.

Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.

1. Development and Implementation:

Lead the development of OutSystems applications, including custom components and integrations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications.

1. Performance Optimization:

Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations.

Conduct regular code and design reviews to ensure optimal performance and security.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.

1. Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in OutSystems and related technologies.

Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

1. Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development.

At least 5 years of experience working with the OutSystems platform.

1. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in OutSystems development and architecture.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Experience in developing Microservices and experience in Domain Driven Design with Outsystems.

Experience with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and SQL.

Experience in deploying Out systems application by setting up CI/CD pipeline.

Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile application development.

1. Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

1. Preferred Qualifications:

OutSystems certification(s) (e.g., OutSystems Professional Developer, OutSystems Associate Tech Lead).

Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), ODC

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Outsystems 11, .net(preferred), proficiency in SQL server/Oracle or any other RDBMS, Javascript
