Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct embedded testing across various products, including IoT gateways, sensors, display units, health devices, smart devices, cameras, tablets, etc. Develop and execute test plans for embedded systems, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing. Perform hands-on validation of firmware, drivers, and hardware-software interaction layers. Create and manage automated test suites using tools like Python, Robot Framework, Bash etc. to aid in automation will beneficial. Design test setups using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and protocol sniffers (I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, Wi-Fi) for precise testing procedures Reproduce and isolate defects, working closely with development to root-cause issues. Conduct exploratory, stress, and boundary testing for hardware-in-the-loop scenarios. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA tools, pipelines, and processe Develop comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and plans to ensure thorough testing coverage. Proficiently debug and analyze issues to contribute to efficient troubleshooting processes. Craft reports including RTM and QA Dashboard for project oversight and performance evaluation. Demonstrate strong communication skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving within the team. Preferred Experience and Qualification Results-driven professional with a B.E./B.Tech/M. Tech in Electronics & Communication or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of Embedded QA engineering experience. Extensive experience in embedded testing for diverse products including IoT gateways, sensors, display units, health devices, smart devices, cameras, tablets, etc. Proficient in QA methodology and tools like Jira, and Test Link, ensuring efficient testing processes and quality assurance standards. Proficient in crafting comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and plans. Skilled in lab test tools: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, J-Flash Lite​, nRF connect​, Smartcard Manager, SmartBond_PLT​, Tera Term​​, ensuring precision. Proficient in debugging and analysing issues for efficient troubleshooting. Skilled in crafting reports: RTM, QA Dashboard, ensuring project oversight. Beneficial to have scripting experience: Python, Bash, aiding automation. Essential: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
