Job Description

You should have a deep understanding of core Oracle VBCS functionality, best practices, and design patterns. Additionally, you should be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in responsive design principles. Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as SaaS, OIC, and Oracle Cloud Database integration is advantageous. Experience with REST and SOAP web services is essential, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices. You should have 2+ years of experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) using Oracle products and 2-3 years of experience with Oracle VBCS. In terms of technical expertise, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust VBCS applications, translating wireframes and high-level designs into functional, responsive code, rigorously testing, debugging, and maintaining VBCS applications, as well as integrating VBCS solutions with other relevant technologies and services. It is important to stay updated on the latest VBCS features and industry trends. Client focus is crucial in this role, as you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, design and present compelling solution proposals, conduct solution demos and proof-of-concept workshops, prepare accurate project estimates, and provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting. Teamwork and collaboration skills are also key, as you will work effectively with internal teams, contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives, communicate project progress effectively, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, client-facing skills, and a strong customer focus. Project management skills are desirable, as well as experience with other Oracle Middleware technologies and knowledge of industry-specific VBCS applications or business domains.,
