Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute large-scale database migration projects using Oracle GoldenGate. Design and implement GoldenGate configurations for homogeneous (Oracle to Oracle, SQL Server to SQL Server) and heterogeneous (Oracle to SQL Server, SQL Server to Oracle) migrations. Develop and implement data validation and reconciliation strategies to ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve complex GoldenGate configuration and replication issues. Conduct in-depth analysis of source and target database environments to identify challenges and recommend mitigation strategies. Optimize GoldenGate performance for high-volume data replication and migration activities. Plan and execute cutover strategies to minimize downtime. Collaborate with application development, database administration, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration. Create and maintain detailed migration plans, documentation, and timelines. Provide expertise in both Oracle and SQL Server databases to support migration and troubleshooting efforts. Stay current with the latest GoldenGate features, industry trends, and best practices. Automate migration processes using scripting languages like Shell, Python, or PowerShell. Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and security policies during migration. Perform post-migration validation, performance tuning, and optimization of target environments. Mentor and guide junior team members on migration best practices and GoldenGate methodologies. Assist in evaluating and selecting appropriate migration tools and technologies.

As an Oracle Database Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining the Oracle database environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to deliver efficient database solutions that support business goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities: - Administer and manage Oracle database systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Perform database tuning, optimization, and performance enhancement activities to ensure high availability and performance. - Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases. - Work closely with development teams to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and procedures. - Monitor database health, performance, and security, ensuring compliance with best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. - Ensure database security through access control, encryption, and other security measures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data migration, integration, and transformation strategies. - Provide technical support and training for team members and end-users as needed. - Keep up to date with the latest developments in Oracle database technologies and recommend improvements.Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5 to 8 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, 19c, and Oracle RAC. - Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle performance tuning. - Experience with backup and recovery solutions (RMAN, Data Guard, etc.). - Understanding of Oracle data replication and high availability solutions. - Familiarity with Oracle Cloud offerings is a plus. - Ability to perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching. - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize complex database queries. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. - Excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication across development, test, and production environments. - Manage and troubleshoot real-time data integration and replication issues between heterogeneous databases. - Design, implement, and monitor GoldenGate architectures for high availability and disaster recovery. - Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of GoldenGate implementations. - Support and optimize database replication, including change data capture (CDC) and bidirectional replication. - Collaborate with development and system administration teams to optimize data flows and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. - Implement patching and upgrades to GoldenGate and Oracle databases. - Monitor, analyze, and resolve replication errors and lag. - Provide detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Train and mentor junior DBAs and other team members. - Perform backup and restore operations, ensuring data integrity and security. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 12 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a strong focus on Oracle GoldenGate. - Expertise in Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Deep understanding of replication, data integration, and change data capture (CDC) technologies. - Proficiency in Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL scripting. - Experience working with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard. - Strong knowledge of networking and database security principles. - Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting. - Proven experience with database migration and upgrade projects. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Oracle GoldenGate certification. - Experience with cloud-based deployments of Oracle databases and GoldenGate. - Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and replication tools.
