Job Description

Job Summary:

Oracle APEX Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
Create and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries, procedures, and database objects.
Ensure performance tuning and data integrity across applications.
Enhance APEX applications using
JavaScript, HTML, CSS
, and RESTful services.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
Support ITSM workflows, timesheet modules, and resource allocation features within applications.
Contribute to project management activities including tracking, reporting, and resource planning.
Document technical designs, workflows, and user manuals for delivered solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4–8 years
of experience in Oracle APEX development.
Strong expertise in
SQL, PL/SQL
, and Oracle database concepts.
Hands-on experience in database handling, performance tuning, and data modeling.
Familiarity with
JavaScript, HTML, CSS
, and web-based application development.
Knowledge of ITSM tools and processes (Incident, Change, Problem management).
Understanding of timesheet management systems and resource management workflows.
Exposure to project management practices and tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle Cloud environments.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of JSON, AJAX, jQuery, and REST APIs.
Experience integrating APEX with third-party systems (ITSM, timesheet, etc.).

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
