Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, in Akal Charitable Hospital located near Rajgarh. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. Day-to-day tasks include patient consultations, documenting medical histories, performing vision tests, and providing patient education on eye care. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referring patients when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Ability to diagnose and manage various eye diseases
• Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and providing patient education on eye care
• Excellent patient consultation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Valid optometry license to practice in Rajgarh
• Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
