Optometrist - Kolar - Karnataka (FOFO)

As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting eye examinations to diagnose vision problems. You will perform various tests to determine depth and color perception, focus, and coordination. Additionally, you will prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids to enhance patients" vision. Your role will also involve detecting and diagnosing eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts. You will provide treatments including vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation to address these conditions. In addition, educating patients on proper eye care techniques and emphasizing the importance of regular eye examinations will be an essential part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Optometry or a related field and possess a valid optometry license in the state of Karnataka. A strong knowledge of refraction and other optometric skills is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients and colleagues. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team is crucial in this role.
