Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and solutions in the Data Warehousing domain Build and maintain scalable streaming data applications using Apache Spark and Kafka Develop microservices in Java and deploy/manage them on Kubernetes (K8S) clusters Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with hands-on coding experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for production systems (Prometheus, Grafana) preferred Leverage tools like Copilot to enhance development efficiency considered a plus Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts and implementation Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with: Apache Spark Apache Kafka OpenTable (or similar open-source tables) NoSQL and SQL databases Proficiency in Java programming Experience in developing and deploying microservices Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S) for container orchestration Strong coding skills and practical software development experience Preferred (Plus) Skills: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development workflows
