Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and solutions in the Data Warehousing domainBuild and maintain scalable streaming data applications using Apache Spark and KafkaDevelop microservices in Java and deploy/manage them on Kubernetes (K8S) clustersWork with both SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrievalWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code with hands-on coding experienceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsImplement monitoring and alerting solutions for production systems (Prometheus, Grafana) preferredLeverage tools like Copilot to enhance development efficiency considered a plusRequired Skills & Qualifications:Strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts and implementationDeep knowledge and hands-on experience with:Apache SparkApache KafkaOpenTable (or similar open-source tables)NoSQL and SQL databasesProficiency in Java programmingExperience in developing and deploying microservicesHands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S) for container orchestrationStrong coding skills and practical software development experiencePreferred (Plus) Skills:Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and GrafanaFamiliarity with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development workflows
