Job Summary: We are looking for a Mid-Level Python Engineer with 35 years of experience to support and enhance our existing data pipelines and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and DynamoDB, and will be responsible for maintaining and scaling our ETL workflows and search infrastructure. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, supporting production systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable and scalable data solutions. Responsibilities: Pipeline Development & Maintenance Build, extend, and maintain Python-based data ingestion and transformation pipelines (Airflow, AWS Lambda, or similar). Ensure pipelines are performant, well-tested, and monitored end-to-end. DynamoDB Engineering Design and optimize table schemas, GSIs, and data access patterns. Implement CRUD operations and batch processes using AWS SDK (boto3). Monitor capacity, handle throttling, and optimize cost/performance trade-offs Elasticsearch/Search Engineering Define index mappings, analyzers, and ingest pipelines. Write and optimize search queries (DSL, aggregations). Implement relevance tuning and performance optimizations. Integrate with Python applications (e.g., using official Elasticsearch client). Production Support & Monitoring Troubleshoot pipeline failures, search performance issues, and data inconsistencies. Instrument services with logging, metrics (CloudWatch, Prometheus), and alerting. • Drive continuous improvement: automate manual tasks, improve runbooks, and share learnings. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on solutions. Write clear, concise documentation for pipeline workflows, data models, and search configurations Requirements: Experience: 35 years of professional software engineering experience. Minimum 2 years working with Python in production environments. Technical Skills: • Python: Strong skills in core language features, packaging, virtual environments, and testing frameworks (pytest/unittest). DynamoDB: Design, operation, performance tuning, and AWS SDK (boto3). Elasticsearch/OpenSearch: Index design, query DSL, performance tuning, and Python client integration. AWS: Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch). ETL/Orchestration: Experience with batch and streaming pipelines (Airflow, AWS Glue, Lambda + Kinesis, etc.). Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Clear verbal and written communicaion Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities: Working with other members of the Database Services and external development teams to deliver projects specified in our company roadmap Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests across the following database platforms (PgSQL, SQL Server, Opensearch, Redshift) Fulfilling requests and resolving incidents within SLAs. Reviewing service-related reports (e.g. database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis to ensure operational issues are identified and resolved promptly. Responding to database related alerts and escalations and working with database engineering to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems. Identifying opportunities for process improvement including enhancing automation for database platform provisioning Enhancing database monitoring & alerting platforms to ensure proactive alerting is always achieved. Promotion of database engineering best practices within our cross-functional development teams. Coaching / mentoring junior engineers. Job Title: Engineering Manager (Full Stack | AWS | AI/ML | ERP Integrations) Location: Bangalore Experience: 10 - 12 Years About the Role: We are looking for an accomplished and hands-on Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Full Stack Development, Cloud Architecture, and DevSecOps. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in designing scalable applications, performance optimization, and cloud-native architectures with a focus on delivering reliable, secure, and efficient software products. This is a leadership role that combines technical expertise, team management, and delivery ownership. The candidate must have hands-on experience across the technology stack and infrastructure lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Developers across React, Node.js, and Python. Drive architectural decisions and hands-on development for scalable web and enterprise applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality releases. Design and implement architecture patterns and design patterns suitable for microservices and event-driven systems. Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of systems by implementing DevSecOps practices and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10 - 12 years of progressive experience in software engineering with 3+ years in leadership roles. Expertise in Full Stack Development using React.js, Node.js, Python. Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., layered, hexagonal, microservices). Proficiency in design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Observer, Strategy, etc. Hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-native applications on AWS. Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, security automation, IAM, and CI/CD. Hands-on experience with APM tools for end-to-end monitoring and observability. Practical understanding and hands-on execution of performance tuning and load testing methodologies. Deep hands-on expertise in integrating with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, custom solutions). Proven experience in designing and executing ETL pipelines and workflows. Advanced hands-on experience in database design and performance tuning for both RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Working experience and implementation expertise with search platforms like OpenSearch/Elasticsearch. Hands-on experience in building, scaling, and maintaining end-to-end ecommerce applications. Proven experience in managing and solutioning AI/ML systems, including model development, deployment, and monitoring.
