We are seeking a skilled safety officer for our Railway rail projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in EHS role, particularly in civil infrastructure or metro rail projects, with a Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices. Detail Engineering: Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures across all project sites in compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., Indian Railways standards, ISO, OSHA). Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices; ensure corrective actions are taken. Prepare and maintain safety reports, accident/incident records, and risk assessments. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers and subcontractors. Investigate accidents or near misses, prepare reports with root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures. Assist in the development and revision of the project s Safety Management Plan. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance. Liaise with government bodies and third-party auditors for inspections and certifications. Support emergency preparedness drills and response protocols.
