Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and developmental evaluations of students. Develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Offer guidance and psychoeducation to parents, caregivers, and staff regarding student needs and coping strategies. Monitor progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions and evaluations. Support inclusive education practices and help staff adapt teaching approaches. Identify and manage cases requiring referral to external mental health professionals or hospitals. Conduct awareness sessions or workshops for parents and staff on mental health, child development, and disability inclusion. Key Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and patience in working with children with diverse needs. Knowledge of developmental disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD, intellectual disability). Ability to collaborate in a team-based setting. Good documentation and reporting skills. Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Masters degree (MSc) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university. Registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Minimum 1\u20132 years of experience working with children, preferably those with disabilities.
