NOC Engineer

As a NOC Trainee Engineer at our Network Operations Centre, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in networking and systems administration. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network, servers, and systems using NOC tools to ensure performance and availability. You will respond to incidents and alerts, following standard operating procedures for escalation. Additionally, you will assist in troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, and document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system. Working closely with senior engineers, you will have the chance to learn and develop your troubleshooting skills. You will also perform routine health checks on infrastructure components and follow change management processes during maintenance activities. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of common issues and resolutions will be an essential part of your role. The qualifications required for this position include a basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and ROUTING. Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems is also necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are crucial. You should be willing to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include exposure to network monitoring tools like Zabbix or PRTG, as well as entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA. This is a full-time position with benefits such as commuter assistance. The job requires day shifts and candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to Mumbai, Maharashtra. A Bachelor's degree is required for this role, along with at least 1 year of total work experience and 1 year of experience as a network engineer.,
