Analyze vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and weaknesses, providing detailed reports on findings. Identify, analyze, and document vulnerabilities in IP Routers and Wi-Fi CPE devices, ensuring compliance with ITSAR security requirements. Collaborate with network architects, engineers, and developers to design and implement secure configurations for network equipment. Develop and propose effective remediation strategies to address identified security issues, improving the overall security posture of network equipment. Provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders and management to enhance network security. Execute vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security reviews to identify weaknesses and potential security threats. Validate security configurations, system hardening practices, and patch management processes to ensure they meet NCCS ITSAR standards. Evaluate third-party software and hardware products for compliance with NCCS ITSAR requirements before deployment. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Manager - Product Security to lead a growing team of penetration testers supporting BMC’s IZOT product line. This team focuses on offensive security assessments across mainframe-based solutions and modern application ecosystems. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of skilled professionals performing deep security testing, red teaming, vulnerability analysis, and secure architecture reviews. You’ll be responsible for setting strategic goals, driving security initiatives, and ensuring secure-by-design practices are embedded across product development lifecycles. This position requires a solid blend of technical expertise in offensive security, deep understanding of mainframe and modern application architectures, and strong leadership to influence and drive results across cross-functional teams. To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. 8+ years in cybersecurity roles, with 3+ years in technical leadership or management capacity. Proven experience leading or performing penetration testing on both mainframe and modern platforms. Demonstrated experience conducting red team-style assessments or advanced threat emulation on mainframe and modern systems. Proficient in tools such as: Mainframe utilities: REXX, ISPF, JCL Security tools: Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, custom scripts Proficient in scripting and automation skills (Python, REXX, Bash, or similar). Experience delivering technical and executive-level security reports. Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead technical teams or projects. Experience producing board-level reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders. Exposure to hybrid environments (mainframe to cloud integrations, modernization efforts). What the Role Does… As a pentester, you will conduct security assessments by probing for and exploiting security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems and finding ways to ensure that any risk to our client is mitigated. We highly prefer if you live in Noida (India) because you will need to be in the office. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducts security assessments that can be multi-faceted for a wide variety of assigned clients Defines the scope for security testing assignments Creates quality assurance security test reports and other documentation as needed Works with clients to develop appropriate remediation plans Provides clients with exceptional service in a professional, courteous and timely manner Provides technical support as a subject matter expert in the sale of security testing assignments on an as needed basis Provides thought leadership and direction for the Information Security practice on malware, attack vectors and methods to protect against threats Teams up with colleagues in other lines of services in support of client needs for Information Security services Stays up to date on current tools, technologies and vulnerabilities to incorporate into testing practices Other related duties as assigned Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related major from an accredited University or College Diploma equivalent Experience performing vulnerability assessments and/or penetration tests would be preferred Application and/or infrastructure penetration testing experience above and beyond running automated tools A good understanding of Linux, Windows and network security skills Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Ability to meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality product (reports) Strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
