Night Auditor - Hotel

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the overnight shift while performing nightly accounting and reconciling tasks. This role ensures that hotel transactions are accurately recorded and guest services are professionally handled during non-peak hours. Key Responsibilities: Guest Services: Check guests in and out, process reservations, and assist with inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure guest requests and wake-up calls are properly handled. Maintain the security and safety of guests and hotel property during the night shift. Audit & Financial Duties: Balance daily financial transactions and prepare end-of-day reports for hotel management. Verify and reconcile daily revenue, room charges, and taxes. Post room, tax, and miscellaneous charges. Audit and reconcile cashiers' work for the day. Prepare and deliver management reports for the morning shift. Operational Support: Monitor and maintain the front desk, lobby, and public areas for cleanliness and readiness. Handle emergency procedures, including fire and safety protocols. Coordinate with security, housekeeping, and maintenance staff as needed.
