From entertainment to social issues, we aim to inform and engage through sharp storytelling in Hindi and English. --- Role Overview: We are looking for a sharp, agile, and news-hungry News Producer / Desk Editor who can spot breaking stories and viral content early, verify the facts, and quickly turn them into compelling, shareable content in both Hindi and English. You will be at the heart of our content engine, working closely with content creators, social media teams, and fact-checkers to ensure accuracy, speed, and impact. --- Key Responsibilities: Monitor and source breaking news, trending topics, viral content, and social media buzz across platforms like X (Twitter), Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, etc. Verify the authenticity of stories using reliable sources and fact-checking tools. Rewrite and localize news articles into crisp, engaging formats in both Hindi and English. Pitch relevant story ideas that align with our brand voice and audience interest. Coordinate with design/video team for visual assets or short-form video content. Stay updated with current events, pop culture, entertainment, and digital trends. Ensure headlines and thumbnails are optimized for engagement without being misleading (no clickbait). Work on tight deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy. --- Requirements: Proven experience (1–3 years) in digital journalism, news desk, content writing, or social media news production. Strong command of both Hindi and English writing – with the ability to write clean, grammatically correct, and engaging content. Knowledge of fact-checking tools and fake news detection methods. Understanding of digital trends, SEO, audience behavior, and content virality. Familiarity with AI-based content tools (optional but preferred). Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven digital newsroom. --- Bonus Points For: Previous work with infotainment platforms or meme/news channels. A knack for writing in a humorous or youth-friendly tone. Basic video or image editing skills (Canva, CapCut, InShot, etc.). --- Why Join Us?
