Network Engineer - L2

Job Description

Requirement: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco network administration. Strong expertise in Switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel) and Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS). Experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) for network access control. Hands-on experience in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki) deployments. Knowledge of VPNs (IPsec, GRE, DMVPN), NAT, ACLs, and QoS policies. Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and network security principles. Proficiency in using network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of ITIL processes for incident and change management. Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise, Security, or SD-WAN (Preferred) Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation (Preferred) CCNA Must ITIL Foundation Certification (a plus) Network Engineer - Mandatory Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco network administration. L2 & L3 Switch Management: Access Point Configuration and Management SD-WAN Deployment and Support: Cisco Technologies - Preferred Ability to work independently and resolve critical network issues.
