Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  
• Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python to streamline operational tasks.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data center operations and network projects.
  
• Configure and troubleshoot network protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  
• Maintain accurate network documentation and perform regular audits for compliance and optimization.
  
• Manage network security protocols, firewall policies, and access controls.
  
• Participate in network capacity planning, upgrades, and scalability initiatives.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• Networking

  : Strong knowledge of network design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Networking Protocols

  : Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.

• Python Scripting

  : Proficiency in Python for network automation, scripting, and configuration management.

• Data Center Operations

  : Experience working in and managing data center network environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent network equipment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SDN technologies and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir).
  
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
  
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, JNCIP, or equivalent are a plus.
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or NetBox.
