SAP installation, upgrade, Support The SAP BASIS Administrator is a technical role focusing on global SAP landscape. The Basis resource should be a Solution Matter Expert and will be accountable for the design, implementation and health of the SAP landscapes. The basis person will provide oversight and leadership to an extended technical team including onsite and offshore third-party resources. The Basis resource is expected to be hands on for all design work and in the implementation of complex technical activities and issues. The Basis resource will ensure that the SAP systems (ECC, BW, SRM, Content Server Business Object, SAP PO, SAP Portal, Fiori, Solution Manager, web dispatchers) and their corresponding DB like HANA, Oracle, MaxDB, Sybase IQ are properly monitored, and optimized to provide an uninterrupted and stable state. Expertise in solution providing for issue or new project requirement with efforts, infrastructure sizing and landscape optimization. Additionally, the Basis resource will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical road maps for SAP and supporting systems. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: o Ensure the SAP solution landscapes operate reliably and efficiently. This includes the maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery systems. o Contribute in maintaining the SAP Cloud services for SAP Solutions and its peripherals. o Provide regular support to SAP users in ECC, BW, Business Objects, PO, Portal, SRM, content server etc. and ensure o Analyse and troubleshoot any system issues or end user issues related to Certificates, Web Dispatcher, Oracle, Job scheduling, monitoring, Interfaces, Workloads, etc. o Administration of SAP interfaces connected via PO system o Completes implementation and enhancement project work with a focus to achieve key milestones. o Ensure the adherence of standards and completes quality documentation for the SAP environments. Maintain audit and compliance requirements. o Liaise with the functional SAP experts and business teams in order to assist with the ongoing support of SAP. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience (in years): o Bachelor's degree 4+ years of work experience in SAP implementation and Support. Graduate degree preferred. o Experience of Support of SAP landscape and Upgrades activities. Knowledge and skills: Good knowledge and Hands on SAP on Oracle and HANA Knowledge of SAP products SAP ECC, BW, Business Objects, PI, Fiori, Portal, Solution manager, Content Server, Web Dispatcher, SRM, SRM MDM, SSL certificates SAP administration experience in SUSE and Windows OS Have performed SAP NetWeaver administration and technical core tasks including SAP installation, upgrade, Support packs and add-on update, System refresh, client copy, performance analysis, etc. Able to perform estimation of estimation for project activities. Ready to learn new technologies and provide suggestions on improvements Unix scripting basic knowledge Other: o Experience working with Global Team. o Committed individual who is self-motivated, deadline driven and results orientated. o Good inter personal, communication, problem solving and facilitation skills

Plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower Review the technical performance of own tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce performance challenges Develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc. Provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team, internal stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness Team Management Resourcing Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future business needs Hire adequate and right resources for the team Train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selection decisions Talent Management Ensure 100% compliance to Wipros standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability & effectiveness Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their career progression within the organization Promote diversity in leadership positions Performance Management Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports.
