Opening at FMRL: We are looking for a right candiates for full-time PhD in particular to the development of Perovskite solar cells and Supercapacitors at FMRL lab, Department of Physics, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai. The PhD candidate will be responsible for conducting research, publishing papers, collaborating with faculty members, and contributing to the academic environment of the institution. Areas of Research: 1. Synthesis of nanocomposites for supercapacitor applications 2. Development of organic-inorganic hybrid materials for solar cell applications 3. Growth of single crystals for magnetic applications 4. Development of Magnetic and Dielectric crystals by Floating zone technique 5. Thermoelectric materials for Energy and Environmental applications 6. Studies on the growth aspects of Laser and Nonlinear Optical Crystals International and National Collaborations: The FMRL Research lab having gobal level of research collaborations with world renowned labs and universities like NIMS (Japan), Tohoku University (Japan), Polichs Academy of Science (Poland), KTH (Sweden), Universidad (Chile), King Saud University (Saudi Arabia). Also we have collaborations with IITM (Chennai), IISC (Bangalore), NPL (Delhi), Delhi Univeristy (Delhi), University of Burdwan (Burdwan), Kakatiya University (Warangal). There are plenty of opportunities to do Postdocs and for the job opportunites once completed your PhD at FMRL. Qualifications: · M.Sc, in Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Chemistry and M.Tech in Maaterials science or equivalence with minimum of 65% mark scored Benefits: Fellowship of Rs. 20,000/- per month will be provide to the selected candidates.
