Mixing Operator

Job Purpose:

To ensure proper mixing of raw materials (resins, additives, stabilizers, lubricants, pigments) for the production of PVC pipes as per standard formulation and process parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and follow the daily mixing plan and batch sheet instructions.
• Accurately weigh and prepare raw materials (resin, additives, stabilizers, pigments).
• Operate high-speed mixer and cooler mixer as per standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and control mixing parameters such as temperature, time, and speed.
• Ensure homogenous mixing and proper cooling of compound before transfer.
• Conduct in-process checks like bulk density, temperature, and color consistency.
• Label and record all batch details to ensure material traceability.
• Maintain cleanliness of mixers, hoppers, and surrounding area to avoid contamination.
• Report any abnormalities, deviations, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Comply with all safety norms, including proper use of PPE.
• Handle materials carefully to avoid spillage and wastage.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and inform for service needs.
• Follow 5S, housekeeping, and environmental protocols.

• KINFRA Textile Centre, Thaliparambu, Kannur

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
