Job Description

Designation Manager Channel management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management & Governance:

    • Manage end-to-end data lifecycle for collections-related data including data collection, validation, cleansing, and storage.
    • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across various sources and platforms (loan management systems, CRM, recovery tools).
    • Implement data governance policies to maintain high-quality data standards.
  • Collections Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Generate periodic reports and dashboards on collections performance, recovery rates, overdue accounts, and related KPIs.
    • Provide actionable insights through data analysis to improve collections strategies and reduce delinquency rates.
    • Collaborate with analytics teams to develop predictive models for risk and recovery forecasting.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify data-related bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the collections workflow and propose automation or process enhancements.
    • Work closely with IT and software vendors to enhance data management systems and reporting tools.
  • Compliance & Audit:

    • Ensure collections data management adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Prepare data and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts/associates focused on collections data management.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Credit, Risk, Operations, and IT.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or Master’s in Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • 5+ years experience in data management, collections, or credit risk analytics preferably within NBFC or banking sector.
    • Hands-on experience with collections systems, data warehousing, and BI tools.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
    • Familiarity with loan management and collections software platforms.
    • Understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality management.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
    • Problem-solving and process improvement orientation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Accuracy and timeliness of collections data reporting.
  • Improvement in data quality and reduction in errors.
  • Contribution to increased recovery rates through data insights.
  • Successful implementation of data-driven process improvements.
