Job Summary: As a Model-Based Design & AUTOSAR Engineer , you will be responsible for interpreting system requirements and building robust Simulink/Stateflow models with traceability to AUTOSAR components. You will work closely with systems architects and software teams to generate ARXML, embedded C code, and testing harnesses compliant with automotive safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Analyze high-level functional requirements (HLRs) and convert them into formal low-level model designs (LLRs) Design Simulink and Stateflow models for complex control logic (e.g., Excitation Control) Configure AUTOSAR SWCs with RTE inputs/outputs and Client-Server ports Map calibration parameters, constants, and tunable blocks to data dictionaries (SLDD) Generate ARXML and production-quality embedded code using Embedded Coder Ensure model compliance with modeling guidelines (e.g., MAAB) Create test harnesses for MIL/SIL testing and automate model verification Integrate generated artifacts into tools like Vector DaVinci Developer or EB Tresos Document model behavior, signal flow, and traceability matrices Required Skills & Experience: Area Must-Have Model- Based Design Simulink, Stateflow , Embedded Coder AUTOSAR - SWC design, RTE/BSW mapping, ARXML understanding Code Generation Production - quality code via Simulink Coder/Embedded Coder Requirement Mapping - HLR to LLR breakdown, requirement coverage Calibration Handling - SLDD, tunable parameters, calibration maps Testing - MIL/SIL simulation, Simulink Test, scripting Tools - MATLAB, Simulink, AUTOSAR authoring tools (DaVinci, Tresos) Programming (optional) - MATLAB scripting, basic C/C++, Python (automation) Preferred Qualifications: Experience in powertrain, battery control, or embedded control systems Knowledge of ISO 26262 or other functional safety standards Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), JIRA, or DOORS for requirement tracking
