Role Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and versatile Features & Guide Writer to create engaging, research-driven content covering lifestyle, culture, entertainment, food, and more. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with a flair for discovering what makes Mumbai tick—and can turn that into content our readers can’t put down.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Features Writing:
  Research, write, and anchor daily feature stories that reflect the pulse of the city—spanning lifestyle, food, entertainment, arts, and culture. Consistently pitch fresh, reader-relevant ideas.
• Time & Deadline Management:
  Handle multiple stories under tight deadlines. Ability to anchor at least one feature page per day is essential.
• Page Layout & Production:
  Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus. You’ll receive support from the design team for layout and production training.
• Social & Digital Savvy:
  Stay on top of trending topics via social media and contribute timely updates to our digital platforms.
• On-Ground Reporting:
  Comfortable conducting interviews, reviews, and field reports when required, in coordination with the editorial team.
• Content Scope:
  Specific coverage beats will be assigned based on your strengths and interests post-interview.
• Workplace Presence:
  This role requires physical presence at our Mumbai newsroom for collaboration, production, and real-time coverage.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong writing and editing abilities with a creative edge.
• Previous experience in feature writing or editorial roles preferred.
• Knowledge of publishing workflows and content editing tools.
• Familiarity with lifestyle and city-centric journalism.
• Basic understanding of design and layout tools (InDesign is a plus).
• Digital-first thinking with an ability to identify content that works across platforms.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
