Reviewing, approval/commenting on all MEP Shop drawings, Coordination drawings, method statements and material submittals.

Detailed supervision and day to day inspection of the works as directed by the Resident Engineer.

Supervise the contractors to ensure the works are constructed as per specification and approved GFC drawings.

Ability to review MEP drawings, schematic diagrams, load schedule and related specifications and should be able to suggest any changes if needed as per Client requirement.

Completion of various forms, documenting the quality and progress of the various sections and areas of the construction work in accordance with the relevant supervision procedure.

Maintain a very high level of Safety awareness and ensure the contractor complies with his obligations.

Resolves site issues on site.

Coordinate with Client and Contractor for any interface issues occurred at site during progress of the work.

Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project.

Review Project plans, i.e. Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan and to Coordinate with the team for progress of the work as per schedule.

Attending regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design etc.) with Contractor, Vendors and Client to discuss the key issues related to the project.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Represent testing and commissioning of complete system.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university

5+ years of professional experience in relevant engineering discipline

Proficiency in industry-specific software/tools

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment
