Job Title: MEP Site Engineers Job Description: MEP Site Engineers will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems at our Logistics Park construction sites. This includes managing the work of electrical, fire fighting, HVAC, and plumbing contractors to ensure that the MEP systems are implemented according to design plans, regulatory standards and project specifications. Role & responsibilities · Oversee all Low-side and high-side electrical works including the installation of electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, and other electrical equipment. · Oversee all HVAC, fire fighting & plumbing systems works, including pump room, STP & WTP, to ensure proper functionality and code compliance. · Prepare the Schedule for execution of MEP Services in co-ordination with the Project manager and the MEP Contractors. · Monitor the progress of MEP contractors and ensure their work meets contract specifications, building codes, and safety standards. · Review shop drawings, submittals, and other MEP-related documentation to verify compliance with design intent. · Conduct regular site inspections and document findings, including photographs, to identify issues and ensure timely corrective action. · Collaborate with the project team, including the project manager, Architect and MEP Consultant, to resolve MEP-related challenges. · Maintain detailed records of MEP activities, including daily reports, Requests for Information (RFIs), and change orders. · Ensure proper documentation is done for operating & maintaining the MEP systems after commissioning. · Have ownership of the complete MEP Systems till commissioning & handover to the client’s facility maintenance team. Preferred candidate profile · Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute. · 2-3 years of experience as a Site Engineer handling execution of MEP services, especially Electrical systems installation, in large industrial and/or warehousing projects. · Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and life safety systems. · Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings · Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. · Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. · Familiarity with building codes and other relevant regulations. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
