Patient Consultation & Education Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage. Advise customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies. Offer health promotion and prevention activities, for example, training people to use devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors. Quality Assurance & Collaboration Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of drugs and drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications and characteristics. Record Keeping Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records for radioactive nuclei, and registries of poisons, narcotics, and controlled drugs. Preferred Candidate Profile We're seeking a professional who meets the following criteria: Communication: Proficiency in verbal communication in English and Kannada/Hindi. Any additional local language proficiency is an added advantage. Qualification: B-Pharma, M-Pharma, or Pharma D. Experience: 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. Registration: Registered with Karnataka Pharmacy Council and ready to submit the Original Registration (KPC Certificate). Work Ethic: Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision. Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills. Instruction Comprehension: Ability to comprehend written instructions given by doctors and other related departmental personnel. Planning & Organization: Ability to plan & organize one's work schedule effectively. Interpersonal Communication: Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out instructions given by supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
