Medical Coding (Fresher)

As a Medical Coding Specialist, your role will involve reviewing patient medical records, extracting relevant information, and assigning accurate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for diagnoses, procedures, and services. You will ensure compliance with coding guidelines, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and support maintaining coding accuracy to minimize claim denials. Additionally, you will participate in training sessions to stay updated on coding practices and assist the billing department with necessary coding information. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field. While certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA) is a plus, it is not mandatory for freshers. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills are essential for this role.
