Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions & removing old equipment and installing new machines.
Proving technical support and training on new equipment.
Prepare PowerPoint presentation on software evaluation, including recommendations for purchase.
Maintenance of primary and secondary instruments in Research Lab.
Gives Necessary Power Supply to Machine.
Run the Machine & Observe Performance.
May assemble, repair and Overhaul Machines.
To undertake scheduled and breakdown maintenance of lab equipment.
Regularly scheduled service, routine checks, and both scheduled and emergency repairs.
Expertise in process control, automation and boiler operations.
Detailed knowledge in functioning of pulleys, motor, pumps & other moving parts.
Knowledge of process instruments such as thermal probes, pH probes etc. and integrating them as part of process control & operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of related work experience in Pigment & dyes, Speciality chemicals, process or Utility industry, ideally gained maintenance of process related equipment in production plant site.
Ability to work on own initiative and provide effective trouble shooting.
Well organized, observant, good communication skills.
Ability to work with timelines/targets.
Good team working skills, with the ability to work in multidiscipline environments with minimal supervision.
