Job Description

Role & responsibilities Comply with all company and site policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practice. To supervise and allocate general shift regarding mechanical works given by reporting senior or as per requested by concern departments to junior engineer or senior technician, technician. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to mechanical systems, and has to repair during given schedule. Accept/Receive work order in General shift from concern department like Production/SRP/Pilot/ etc. and execute work as per priority and requirement without affecting other department/work. As per receive work order, work from reporting senior and as per workplace requirement, organize and allocate work to junior or senior technician, technician so that manpower utilization is maximum and minimum downtime for machine or machine is available at earliest for use. Suggestion related to problems or modifications of mechanical and has to give to reporting senior or downline. Supervise juniors or technicians related modification/routine maintenance work in absence of reporting senior. To attend the equipment of all kind for Mechanical maintenance work like preventive, breakdown, shutdown, predictive maintenance. Raise work permit like Height, Hot & general work as per keeping in view of allotted work. To ensure that all production equipment and utilities are so maintained that the production could proceed without any interruptions. Execution of modification/maintenance in the existing plant for creating facilities for manufacturing of new products. Ensure that the generate scrap to be discard properly with proper documentation and approvals. Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for Mechanical systems, including reports, presentations, and technical specifications. Documents like PM checklist, building maintenance checklist to be maintain as per planner or as per availability of Equipment. To generate Evaluation Sheet/Purchase Request/Gate Pass/ Invoice Booking of materials and service related to mechanical materials and service receive from vendor for repair and maintenance purpose or as per requirement. To verify materials and service via third party vendor for Invoice clearance. Properly and take care hand tools, fixed and portable power tools. Ensure site is ready for Audits purpose i.e. customers and certifications. Participate on site improvement teams. Maintain housekeeping in designated/work area and in concern areas.
