Market Research Analyst Location: (Remote) ABOUT THE ROLE As a market research analyst, you will be a key part of the sales pipeline development in building our lead generation process to support marketing and sales for our fast-growing AI data solutions business. Your primary focus will be researching industries and identifying potential accounts and relevant ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) for the sales team RESPONSIBILITIES: Research industries, companies, and their products to identify where iMerit has product-market fit and potential to scale revenue. Use specific personas and titles to identify key contacts within target companies and look up their contact information for outbound marketing and sales. Competitor Analysis, to understand what each competitor is offering and who their clients are to understand the market space better Having a thorough understanding and knowledge of using the web for information gathering and data scraping for list building Using different kinds of tools both free and paid to find relevant emails Find valuable supporting information on each person/company to allow our Sales team to schedule meetings with the right people at the right companies Work cross-functionally with Market Research, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure campaign success, ask for help when needed and help others when able. Ability to work interculturally across time zones and in a distributed team, occasionally during off hours to support global meetings. Problem Solver - Have a consultative approach, deeply understand client needs/business goals, connect the dots on how iMerit will deliver customized solutions Self-directed learner and hands-on problem solver - You solve unique client problems, and provide research to allow the Sales team to handle and overcome prospect objections verbally and via email QUALIFICATIONS: 2-4 years of relevant experience in secondary and primary research along with lead generation Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce (or equivalent) Track record of thriving in a self-starting environment leveraging your drive, creativity, and intellect Comfortable working with data and attention to detail Ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, technology, and concepts, in technical fields such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Data Science Proven track record of reaching/exceeding work Experience working with an international team Experience working with remote teams or teams in multiple locations Outstanding organization and time management skills Having prior experience of using Zoominfo or Apollo will be beneficial
